Still, I won't let a bad week get me down. I decided to launch a new 3 week program/diet I am calling "19 pounds down in 19 days!" No worries, I won't be starving myself. I'm just hitting the gym longer (45 minutes of cardio and 30 of weights, 6 days/week), drinking 1 gallon of water per day, doing a quick ab workout nightly, and just tryin' to MOOOOOVE it during the day as much as possible. I'll continue with the same diet I'm following now (Dean Ornish's "Eat More, Weigh less") which just focuses on sticking to good old fashioned veggies, fruits, grains, and beans (and A LOT OF them), with a small amount of non-fat or low fat dairy, and avoiding fatty foods (oils, meats, etc...) My rule is plain and simple: follow the diet, and don't cheat! What an idea?! To follow the diet you claim to be following! :) haha. I must say this has always been my weakness. It goes back to self discipline.
Anyway, I'm also going to do something I've never done - posting "before" pictures with SKIN showing. My face, arms, and legs are looking better then they did a few months ago, but I bet I won't like my big tummy until I lose another 40 pounds or so... once it changes into just a tummy... without the "big" attached.
Anyway, here they are. I'll probably just take a front and side shot daily, but today I got a little carried away.
Welllll, there you have it. I'm out of here before I turn BRIGHT RED!!
